E-Machine Help?

I am not computer savoy. I am pretty happy with my old Emachine but it's getting old and need to think about getting a new one.

Here is my current computer:

If you look to the left there are other Emachines towers, I don't know enough about processors to really know which would be an upgrade. I would hate to buy a new tower and get a slower processor than I currently have. I do play some online games and currently play wow on mim settings with no problems. Is there a machine tower on the left that I can buy in the $400 range that would be a upgrade for me?
 
Emachines is what i'm upgrading from. The el1337-w or something. To be honest if you want to upgrade to another system, I wouldn't choose emachines. I've had a lot of problems with mine on the boot screen, freezing in the os, and not recognizing or being able to use removable storage devices. If I was you i'd build one with better components, that will last you a good while.
 
Emachine is owned by Gateway and is not a high end computer, just like Acer.. I would look into either Dell or HP for a good Brand name computer, Or even better, Build one your self and buy a barebones kit...

Dell, maybe...their build quality has improved as of late, what with the Delta PSU's and all, but I think it may only be the XPS models that have those.

HP, though? Not in a million years.
