I cannot send or receive e-mails using outlook express my isp says the problem is with microsoft,anyone else had this problem

I take it your using your isp email servers?
what are the settings in outlook for incoming and outgoing servers?

You gonna have to post what message it shows
If something wrong with outlook, save all the contacts and reinstall it.

Outlook express can't be reinstall cause it is part of the OS..... so that means he would to reinstall the OS, which we want to avoid.
but i do agree, a message on what it is saying would be helpful.

As far as I know you can remove some of the apps that come with Windows.
I'm not on Windows ATM so I can't check but I believe it's:
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Remove Windows Components
Its something like that, I'll have to check next time I'm on Windows.

Cohen already pointed out you cannot re-install OE, you can only remove and add it again.
not RE-install.
anyway as for the problems you need to have the proper configurations, mail servers addresses (IP) etc etc.
what's with your ISP saying the problem is with Microsoft ?
are you using hotmail inside of OE ?
