E-Trust antivirus...Any good?

Hi,

My uncle is currently using E-Trust antivirus on his system.

Is E-Trust antivirus any good or should i tell him to switch to AVG free or Avast?

He wanted to know whats better.

i ve never thought of those anti virus helping me,
well when i do get a virus, i might as well format and re instal everything,.,, quite simple, takes up to 2hours...
 
We run E-Trust ITM at my work. It runs on ever server, every work station, etc across 55+ buildings, over our whole network. For the most part is does a very good job of keeping things out. Mind you this is on 10,000 computers with 25,000+ users.

Il tell him to change to Avast....Personaly i find Avast much better than any Antivirus ive used anyway.
 
I dont know about etrust antivirus, but i have etrust pest patrol(spyware) and i am definately not impressed. The freebies(i.e. Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware) prove to be better than this purchased product. For antivirus, I use Antivir(www.free-av.com), but suposedly AVG and Avast are good too. Either way, i am happier with the free software than Etrust.

He instaled Avast Last night and seems happy with it so far...Not to mention it doesnt take so long to load at startup as ETrust.

He only has 256Mb of ram :(
