E3 impressions

I've only seen the highlights, like the wii u and the ps vita. Though the hardware is rather interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the line up of games besides skyrim. I'll have to see about bioshock.
 
Far Cry 3 looked interesting. Liking the hardware that Nintendo have coming. Might actually bring some decent games in the future.

That's what I'm thinking. And I'm glad they've finally gone HD. the graphics on the wii are comparatively horrible.

+1 For the first time, I actually wished i owned a wii.


Overall, I'm pretty happy with the games coming out. Right now i feel like there's a bit of a drag in the game market.
The halo overhaul is cool, I'll probably get that. As far as halo 4, I'm optimistic, but still pretty reserved about the whole idea.
 
E3 is actually pretty boring this year to be honest. Most of us at my store find it pretty meh. I mean, yay games we've been waiting for, and new details we can hype customers up with... but it's so boring.
And those Sony people DO NOT know how to put any excitement into their talking.

Halo 4 - Saw that coming with the ending of Halo 3. We shall see how 343 Industries can handle Bungie's child. Also promised a trilogy out of this... game is being milked now. Wayyy too much.
Mass Effect 3 - I WANT THIS!
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - I ALSO WANT THIS.
I want more news on Metal Gear Sold: Rising.
Playstation Vita looks interesting. Also a much cheaper prince than first anticipated.
Uncharted 3 - I WANT THIS!
Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Getting this as well. The trailer was AMAZINGLY well done.
... my list goes on.

But E3 is E3, so I shall watch and see what I can gather.

I am a little disappointed to say this was EA's year. BF3, ME3, Overstrike, that RPG game that I can't remember the name of. They had games everyone was expecting to see that look awesome, but then they had new games announced, like the last two, that look awesome, even with one just being one of the best cinematics ever.

I am not all that interested in the Wii U to be honest. I like the idea of gaming without the need for a TV, but why can't Microsoft implement this into tablets running windows so it works with the Xbox?

I am so annoyed with FF too. They have taken what was an amazing series and made it a bit crap. It looks absolutely gorgeous, but really, the same battle system and extremely linear gameplay, it is just ugh.

The only things from E3 I can see myself potentially getting is BF3 (this is a certainty), Skyrim and PSV (maybe for both of those). I want to see more of some things before making a decision, but the stuff shown at E3 was just a bit average
 
Halo 4: Meh. Until they come out with a new xbox, I'm not excited. (PC bias FTW!)

I was just keeping track of the bulldozer release. :)
 
i thought this year's E3 was kinda crap tbh, mass effect 3 yeahyeah ill get that SKYRIM **** YEAH apart from those two it sucked.
 
Hugely disappointed with the Wii U.. I don't even want one tablet, let alone 4 of them so me and 3 of my friends can play. Also...how much is each controller gonna be?? $200? Honestly, give me my standard wiimote and standard wii games with just hi def capability, and I would be happy.

PSVita looks pretty cool, not cool enough to drop the dough, but still cool. Ok, Maybe I will buy one down the road =P

Elders scrolls V I'm excited for though.

Only thing I like about E3 is the models they hire. I must admit I am getting sick of gaming as its become very stale and repetitive with very few unique ideas anymore. They turned Assassin's Creed into their next cash farm too :(

I will admit though Elder Scrolls LOOKED promising but I fear they are worrying to much over the fighting and the graphics and will slowly lose the "RPG" roll that made the game epic. I also hope they include a mod set so we can forge the game into what WE want like with Morrowind.
