E5200 on MSI Board

Thanks for the great info everyone.

I have Prime 95 running and the highest temp seen so far is 47°C. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know how it turns out.

Again, I really appreciate the help from you all.
 
I didn't trust the thermal grease/compound on the stock Intel HSF so I took out my mobo and removed it. I cleaned it off the CPU and HSF with alcohol and applied some Arctic Silver 5.

I put everything back together and booted up. What a waste of time....it runs the same temps.

Oh well, I feel better knowing that Arctic Silver 5 is between my CPU and HSF anyway.
