i just received my order today to build my very first computer and the processor does not clamp all the way down onto my motherboard even though the website says they are compatible . should i force it all the way down to clamp it on? please help.

Processor : Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

Motherboard: MSI G31M3-F LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Are you absolutely sure you don't have it on there as pictured?

I WOULD NOT reccomend pushing it down, as all my builds the CPU has just sat on then I have put the bracket over.
 
PLEASE, I'm saying this for your sake don't try to force it down.
