Hey guys,

i have my e6300 OC to 2.7Ghz and it runs stable according to orthos and i havnt had any problems since but i think 1.4v which its running at now is too high.
so i just tried lowred it to 1.325V and saved setings in bios but when i load CPUZ it still says 1.416V

does this mean that @ 2.7Ghz it wont run at 1.325V then?

will it damage the chip at 1.4v?

My athlon 2000+ is running at 1.648V and at 59*C.. It's been for about a year now and I've seen no problems.

2.4v! that'd fry the CPU, you mean 2.4v on the RAM? or 2.4GHz on the CPU??

And as mep916 said on Kornowski's thread, don't worry too much if the voltage on the CPU seems high as long as the temps are good and the CPU is stable. ;)

damn sorry i need to wake up!

i meant 1.4 volt :D

il edit the post.

yeah everythings stable and i get 39c idle and 49-50c full load with orthos.
It never goes above 50c and its always warm in our house.

so at 1.4 volt it wont do any damage?

Gah, ive had enough of these E6300 threads lol.

Anything up to 1.55 V for 24/7 use wont kill the chip, if its not stable, add more voltage.

Heh, you're telling me :P Haha!

I think aslong as your temps are Ok...
I had mine at 3 GHz with 1.370v, but I got 58c on load and didnt think the extra 200MHz was worth it. I can actually run it undervolted (1.31v)... :)

well these are my temps idle today :)

lol they are basically very similar, but i had my e4500 at 1.6V and 3.5GHZ once, just seeing how far i could take it with a friends Zalman.
