E6400 3Ghz voltage

Just as a general idea what should the voltage be hovering around for an E6400 overclocked to 3.01Ghz on the rig below?

There is no definite answer, since there are slight differences in each cpu, even of the same model, including core stepping. But if you and a friend got the exact same hardware, there are high chances you won't get the same OC results as him. The voltage should be high enough that your system is stable while running orthos, but low enough that if you were to lower it anymore, it would be unstable or unable to post.

True, and I understand that but when I check out other peoples OC's I sometimes read posts that say something along the lines of "Wow I would never run that much voltage through my CPU". I was just wondering what would be considered a "high" voltage on this particular processor. Right now I have it where I can run TAT or 2 instances of prime 95 for a good hour or two, and never have a problem, any lower and I get a BSOD when only when converting video files. The temp is a little high for my liking but I haven't experienced any problems yet.

Raise the voltage until you get the desired OC, than once you reach it, reduce voltages until it will not boot and than raise it to the lowest working voltage.

Raise the voltage until it's stable. You dont want to raise it more then needed.

I believe I had mine at 1.55 or 1.6V, but I can't remember for sure.
