I certainly hope so, I want to see some competition, I want to see some downward pressure on Intel's prices. >< At the moment Intel's prices is going towards "rip offs" but I will still buy Inte chips because at least its better than AMD. Its all one way traffic at the moment.

Intel lowered their prices a month or so back, I think their current prices are reasonable. I mean, $280 for a quad-core processor? Thats pretty cheap.

With the currency conversion your cheapest quad-core is less expensive than ours. Not accounting for it's reliability but the other prices and sites still are pretty close to ours.
