what kinda psu are you using?
and i highly doubt you can't oc that cpu to 3.0 ghz stable, cool and with default voltage

I honestly don't recall the exact name and model but i'm pretty sure it's an Enermax Liberty 620watt PSU.

No one can shed some light on how to verify how much wattage your PSU puts out?

turning the multiplier down reduces the need for cpu voltage, pumping the fsb is an easier way imo

So lowering the multi and then upping the FSB is better?
