I saw the Q6600 thread and wanted one for the E8400 as well, so here goes.

Share your settings, clocks, and voltages!

Mine:
Speed: 4.05 ghz
FSB: 450 mhz
CPU voltage: 1.45V
Stepping: C0

Memory:
900mhz
1:1
5-5-5-15
2.4V
 
Q6600 owners are inferior to us....

FSB: 400 mhz
CPU voltage: 1.280V

These threads are pretty funny considering a video card is what really makes a difference

For example,before I upgraded I was running a P4 7600 GS (and yes it sucked :D) If we pretend that it was a PCI express 16 and put it in either a Q6600,a E8400 or even a I7 system, yes I said it , it would still perform terrible .Take a GTX 260 or a HD 4870 or better card in either of those system and it would perform good to great depending on how high a card you went for in use in modern games.These CPU's even with OC'ing make minimal difference ;)

umm i had p4 3.0ghz and a 4870 and i got 40fps in source. then i got an e6550 and now i get 220-300fps. cpu matters a lot.
