E8400 vs Q6600

Been offered both which one should i get, im not an overclocker just cant get it running stable.

If you're a gamer, currently, the E8400 would be the better choice. But the Q6600 would be a little more future proof as more apps get optimized for more cores.

Easy answer really. Q6600. Down the road, this CPU will remain in the game longer, if you know what I mean.
