Just going to leave this article here....

And this certain quote from said article right here:

Electronic Arts – the mega-publisher behind a litany of games including Madden, FIFA, Battlefield, Dead Space, Mass Effect and more – will be “discontinuing” its Online Pass initiative.

Excellent news,If now only more games follow!

Next id like to see go is Overpriced DLC! (Content that should have been in the game anyway)!

This is pretty good, If they actually do it.

I was going to say that some (not all) DLC can be accepted as an extra charge. Then I smacked myself in the head. No DLC should be charged. If this becomes a problem, use the ideas of the DLC towards a new game rather than just a DLC. This would benefit both gamers (they get more games) and Devs (they make money). The downside would be more of COD franchises. Meaning every game is the same with little differences.

"Money, it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands
And make a stash

New car, caviar, four star daydream
Think I'll buy me a football team "

This is a welcome change from EA, perhaps they will change their way following this announcement and actually become a decent publisher again.
