Well, about a year ago i started learning Visual Basic 2005 and i managed to make a calculator (Wow!!). Then i had to format my hd and lost everything, so i just wondered what would be a combination of the easiest and best language to learn. I don't really have to much programming knowledge.;)

Any help would be grate, thanx.:)

EDIT: By the way i learned from this:

i began as you with visual bsic (the 6 version not the .net) but many people think it's not the best language for beginners...
and now that i have studied many other languages i think it's better to begin with the bases in c or in java (for the oop)....

BASIC is a good learning language, but is basically worthless. If you've done Visual Basic before, you would be better off furthering your learning there.

I would suggest either Visual Basic or Visual C# as they are easy to learn and C# gets you ready for languages like C or C++

Hope this helps

Ummmm......decisions, decisions. What to chose, I'll keep learning Visual Basic but i like the idea that Hellbreather suggested. I'll try and learn Visual c#, then give on of the other C languages a shot.

Cheers guys.
