So I got my HD 5850 today, and will be installing it, along with a new 700 w power supply this evening in my Dell XPS 8300. Its all a tight fit, but should work. Now my question is does it matter what I plug into on the graphic card? I see to sections I can plug into, either works fine or is there one I should be using?

You're supposed to plug them both in. That's why they're there.

Thanks, I for some reason the other was for connecting to another video card, not sure why lol

Saves me some headaches tonight when I would definitely be trying to figure out why it wasn't working when I had everything connected properly, so I would think.

Nope. That's what the sli/crossfire tabs are for on the top part of the card.

No idea where those are on the card, but it doesn't matter as I wont be doing that and my mother board doesn't have option for adding a second graphics card that matches what I have now, the slots that are left are not the same as the video card I just put in.
