Ebay or Craigslist

I'm debating on what site to use to sell my offhand junk; Guitar, few books, old Pokemon card(Yeah...sigh), old television etc.

If there's a better site/way to sell my stuff I'm all ears. I already have a paypal account and most things needed to use these types of websites. Any pros/cons or suggestions?

Edit: I'd prefer not to use both at the same time.

i don't see ya doing ebay with heavy items like guitar (light but big) and tv . its the shipping cost. Craigslist first. they can drive out and see it. I do both. with Craigslist i can set up a wiling to ride 25mi's and look at it. small is good for Ebay because of shipping cost. tv might be a candidate for newspaper. its local.
try both or all.ya said the tv is old. they are cheap enough.

It's a decent TV, but not a flat screen. Still have the remote too. I'll put the big items up on Craigslist and see if anything comes up.

If ya have a guitar of any value i would put that up on Ebay first. I had a friend that was down South and stopped at a garage sale he had interest in. It was the same type guitar that Hendrix used. Paid $500 for it. He new the equipment and what he was looking at. Sold on Ebay for $5,000.

Throw the Pokemon cards up on eBay, it's the only way you'll get rid of them. eBay might be the place for the guitar as well if it's a make/model that is popular (i.e. the kind that people would commonly search for to buy), otherwise Craiglist. The books and CRT TV are definitely Craigslist material.

Also, it never hurts to list in both places. If it sells on Craigslist then you can just cancel the eBay auction.

Found an interesting site I'll be trying to sell the cards at.

I put the tv and guitar on craigslist, the guitar isn't worth much, was only about 150 when I bought it new.
I'll probably be putting the books on craigslist too, when I get home.(I've already tried tr books on eBay)

Craigslist is mostly for local dealing...and if you are willing to deal with heaps of spam. eBay works pretty good, but you might not get as much, and you have to pay fees.
