Hey guys i have a question...on ebay they state this...

There's no insertion fee if you're a private seller and you list your item in an eligible category in the auction-style format with a starting price of up to 99p

So if i put something for sale on there starting at 99p,can i still put a reserve limit on whatever im selling?...and do they charge you for this?

Sorry for the noob question,never sold anything on there before,only purchased stuff.

lol yea i know. i sold an iphone, and i pt a reserve on it, and after the reserve fee, fee for extra pictures, paypal fees, and shipping i only got about $110 of the 137 it sold for
 
I cant even find how the hell you put on a reserve price!!!,..cant see the option anywhere!
 
Hey tremmor,yeah i ve seen that one,looked all over google and they tell you how to do it but that reserve box never appears! so i dont know whats up,i cant be bothred anymore its Ebays loss il sell my stuff elsewhere for free :)
 
Well.........in case you look at the post now im curious.
Can't you just say in the description minimum bid starts at $?
I was just curious also.
 
I usually put a item up for .99 for no start fee then put a buy out on the item. If someone bids I delete their bid (and send them a PM explaining "fair trade") and 99% of the time someone buys it out for the price I wanted.
If I don't get what I want...I just tell the buyer I can't sell to him and move on. I usually lose .35 on those auctions and so far no bad results or I will cancel the auction to avoid sellers moaning that they didn't successfully rip me off.

Not sure if they changed anything but 6 months ago when I was selling Amazon Vouchers it was true.


I will do anything to save money :P
