I'm working on a esc notebook , g732 listed as the motherboard in windows system information program. On there website it says the board supports a pentium 4 northwood up to 3.2ghz 533. Need help figuring out why it is running slow.
cpu-z Says the 2.8 pentium 4 northwood
core speed is 2087.5
multiplier is x21
bus speed is 99.4mhz
rated fsb 397.6mhz
Mainboard Ecs Elite group
model g732 ss75a
chipset is 645dx rev. 1
southbridge Lpc Bridge rev.14
Lpc10 Ns PC 87591
Bios

I think the processor should be running at 2800 and the bus speed should be 133. I made sure the jumper on the board is set to 533 instead of 400. The only adjustment on this notebook. The phoenix bios has no speed settings for the processor. On ecs web site it says version 2.0. I dont know if the pcb version in the notebook is 2.0. There are no bios updates for version 2.0 that adress processore speed . I dont know if, they have a earlier version of board in that notebook. I know the blue bios screen when enabled is saying it is a pentium 2.8ghz but it is saying it processor speed is 2100 .
Here is the only info I can find about it.

Can someone Please help me determine why it is running slowing than it is suppose to . Can the pc2100 ram make it run slower. It also says it supports pc2700. A program system information for windows after the g732 is saying ver a0. I dont know if that can be the motherboard version.
