Editing XP Themes

Hey guys, long time no see.
I've been playing around with the themes for XP for some time now, going between the default XP theme colors, the classic themes, WindowBlinds, and currently am using the Zune XP Theme.
I tried looking up how to get into XP files and change the colors of the start menu icon and whatnot, but have only found a program called "XN Resource Editor", and I have no clue how to use this.
I really don't want to use WindowBlinds as it's buggy and there aren't many good themes for it, nor do I really like the classic theme.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks.

There are more complicated ways to change the theme. Theres patches which help you to do so ( I know this because I used to try to do it but ended up using Windowblinds )

Anyway... It's kinda Ironic that your sign is ubuntu but your talking about how to change your xp theme... isn't it.

There is a program from TGT Soft called "StyleXP". It gives you the possibility to change xp themes. Also, there is another one, but won't work without stylexp, style builder. You can edit each image (the Start button is an image with three "buttons" included: normal, hover, clicked; just an example). You can edit an entire theme, but it's pretty difficult having to build every image in the theme. It also has a tool to change the hue, light and saturation of existing themes (all images) to get new colors.

You can either get the trial version or buy them. This is their website: http://www.tgtsoft.com

Thanks chibicitiberiu. I really want a way to actually change the way windows chooses the color of the theme, rather than a program (like WindowBlinds) that just masks it, and runs in the background.
I'll check out those sites.
