HI Guy ,

I 'm actually build my new PC with specification below :

MOBO: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
Processor : Phenom II X2 555~ 3.2Ghz
ram : 2.0Ghz DDR3
GC: Sapphire Ati radeon 5670 1Gb DDR5
PSU: Superb Gigabyte 550WAtt

I have no problem with installation , and overall its quite satisfy :) for me since I used my Sempron AMD quite year ago. But I noticed that , the processor core 3.2Ghz sometimes change to 803Mhz and 2.0Ghz . its There any effect of it ? or i need to setup my Bios or somewhere else?

play game : 3.2Ghz
idle or watch movie : 803Mhz sometimes 2.0Ghz .

I need help for solution or information for this situation

FYI : sorry for my bad english :).

Thanks

Just turn off Cool 'n' Quiet in the bios. It regulates your CPU speed depending on what your doing. Most people turn it off, I used to but now I keep it on, as I don't really do anything expect browse the internet. I'm sure I don't need 3.6Ghz to do that.

So that's mean there is no effect , just turn off cool and quite at bios setting.
But is there effect for temperature after I disable it ? or it just maintain same without cool n quiet ?

sorry for ask a lot ..:P

Yea your temps will most likely go up a few degrees. Nothing to worry about though, as they will still be just fine.

thanks for info , and i also want to know If I just enable cool n quite and core show 803Mhz and 2Ghz, It is still effect for my PC ? or I must turn off the cool n quite in Bios setting ?

need to know more..

Turn off Cool N Quiet

Also, some people dont know this but, Power Management if set to Power Saver will also automatically drop your multi down just like cool n quiet. So change Power Options to High Performance. Or you can keep power saver selected and press "change plan settings" then click "advanced settings". Go down to Processor Management and change the min and max.
