I've asked this countless times, but I'll ask it again in this forum because I'm curious to get feedback here too. I'm upgrading from a Slot-A 850 :)

Here is my system:

MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum
OCZ Premier PC3200 2 x 256 DDR
WD 800JB 80 GB EIDE ATA 7200 rpm HD
Matrox G400 max (possible upgrade to AIW 9600xt later)
Adaptec 2930u scsi controller
Umax 1200S scsi scanner
Pioneer 303S 6x scsi dvd rom
Plextor 24/10/40 CDRW
External serial modem or PCI winmodem (if the external works, for the few times I'll need dialup or fax, I'll use it)
onboard audio and LAN
keyboard
mouse
amplified speakers

PSU:

Enermax Noisetaker EG425P-VE
5v = 30a
3.3v = 30a
12v1=18a
12v2=18a
12v combined = 29a

I think its more than enough. With my Slot-A I had an Enermax 350 watt with 17a on the 12v rail but I got the 420 for the AMD64 because it has a little extra headroom and is really efficient.

Sufficient?

Of course :P I was just nitpicking heehee :D (have you ever come across a 400W+ without the ATX12?)
