Look what I just found -- a screenshot showing the Xerox Star user-interface (from 1980):

This is what was copied by Apple when developing the MacOS GUI. Note that not much changed during the years... Of course, the newer Macs have animated windows, colourful icons and a whole lot of other fancy crap, but the user-interface's feel remained as it was 25 years ago.
So Apple didn't invented the wheel, it just added the brakes...

you guys are all dumb ass losers!!! Thanks for all your help that you didn't give me. I guess you can't expect much when you're getting advice from 16 and 21 year olds who say they are computer techs. A computer tech at 16? At your high school or what?? This forum was a waste of time. I hope you guys have fun patting each other on the ass and talking about your "sigs"! How lame!

You already got an answer from 4W4K3:
I wouldnt get any of them. not to mention you could build that for half the price if not less.
There were no other comments on that system probably just because we all agreed on that.
And I think we helped you: 1. to not buy a Mac, 2. to not buy an overpriced PC.

Thanks for your civilised manner to say goodbye to us.

It was uncalled for yes but he did have a point -- you guys (nobody in particular -- this time) DO get off topic -- and I *did* warn y'all of the off-topic-ness. Next time there wont be a warning.
