Email help

I use google as my email because I have issues with setting up my outlook so I just use that. Well I tried calling google but they aren't using any live reps right now for some odd reason so I'd figured I'd ask you guys for help.

Basically I am getting email from someone who I don't want to keep it contact anymore. I was wondering is there a way I can block this persons email address so they can't email me or I just won't receive it? Or if they send me anything it'll just go straight to my trash bin?

Yea I get confused with that...it puts the email name under from, then it asks To:, Subject:, Has the words:, and Doesn't have:

What do I do to that?

That is to specify your filter... if you want every email from that guy to go to the trash then just leave his email in the "to" part and then click next step and there is a skip inbox (archive) option and a delete option... pick what you want and press create filter.
