email transfer

I have a laptop with Windows 7 on it and have been using thunderbird email
which gets my email from my local internet service.
My other computer is a desktop that has XP on it and I was using outlook express.
How can I get my emails from outlook express to thunderbird?
I'm going to be selling the desktop but want to retrieve my emails from outlook.

you can export your PST file on outlook.

sorry man i would of sent you a link but I have this sophos firewall here and somethings wrong with it and all my webpages are timing out, not sure how this is working. Google export PST file on outlook express version x
