embroidery machine question

I bought my wife an embroidery machine about 4 yrs ago. it was $10,000.

paid $1300 for that. She is not a professional. also bought another commercial iron to stamp pictures or portraits on a sweatshirt, jacket and heavy t-shirt. one of the things she does not know about is lettering. One shop wants 50 shirts made up. no pictures, just joes machine shop or what ever. address and phone number. once it in the top left of a heavy t-shirt and thats it. does not want embroidery. just wants the letters only and neat.

any suggestions please.

From what I know about iron on transfers for shirts (which isn't very much) is you either have to cut out the non used parts, or there will be a clear film on the shirt where that was.

There is also silk screening which uses a screen (that you make much like a PCB board) ink and a squeegee to print it onto the shirt.

I've got shirts I've made with both methods. And the ones that were silk screened have been washed a ton and still are in good condition, but the ones that were transferred peeled after a few washings. And they didn't look as nice either.
 
she found a place that sells text, diff sizes and fonts. just lay it out on the shirts or jacket and press with commercial iron.
