Emial links don't work

Every time I click on a link that someone sends to me I get “Application not found” So I went back to all my old email and it’s the same thing. How can I fix this?

That's not what I asked. Are we talking website links or something else? Have you set a default web browser yet?

This should be the same problem you have with desktop shortcuts not working for URLs, you just need to set the protocol association with whatever browser you want.

I went to protocol association - Set your default programs and click on Windows live mail - Choose default for this program - Set associations for this program - .eml and .vcf and select all and Save but it didn't work so what did I do wrong?

Do you see a panel similar to this in control panel -> Default Programs ? Under protocol you should be able to define those.

You need to set default Web browser not default email. Find out what application will open html files.
