Has anyone used this board before? Overall, this seems to be a great board. The layout seems to be the best out of any. Some people complain mostly due to the ATX plug placement, but with a long connector, I think it should be fine. The chipset cooler is well out of the way of the PCIe 16x slot. And I love how all the USB and firewire connections are together on the bottom. Some people complained it didn't have a firewire port on the IO plate, but I'm quite happy like this. I might just connect the one on the front and I still have an extra port for the back if I so desire...

Specs, I read good stuff. It seems to be at par with other nForce4 mobos with all the features you'd want. I didn't read any major problems. One site had problems OCing it, but I don't plan to so they said it was rock solid at stock speeds. I also found people who used my cooler and my RAM in it...BIG plus to know those work :D

Visually it's not appealing, but I honestly don't care. I want stability and performace over colors any day!

So in short...what do you think? My AN8 seems to have a slight chipset problem. It's still under warrenty if anyone would want to purchase it for cheaper and replace it though Abit or try to use it... I personally just thought an upgrade would do best, as with the 7800, I had some issues with the USB header placement...

I have heard mixed stuff about DFI... But it's more popular than epox... But I don't plan to overclock and the epox seems to shine in that respect.

Thanks for the link. I've been to that site but for some reason I've yet to see that page :P

Up to you man its your comp. Good Luck !!! and when you get it tell me how you like it i might take a look at it for a secondary comp.

yea, if ur not overclockin then its probly one kick ass board, and you wouldnt need to spend the extra 15 because DFI makes nice overclocking boards.
