Epson replacement inks

I need to replace the inks on my Epson printer but don't wish to purchase the over priced aricle they sell.

I understand that it is possible to get around the problem of so-called non-compatible inks using a chip resetter? Anyone tried this successfully?

Cheers.

Best thing i can think of would be Go buy a ink refill kit (put new ink in old ink cartage)

Hi, mate

Thanks for the response.

I've actually managed to solve the problem (well the ink supplier did actually!)

When I bought them they were described as compatible and they are provided you fit the black first having previously powered the printer and PC down and then reboot them.

Worked first time afterwards.

Cheers.

This may be a late repsonse, but hopefully it'll help save you guys a lot of money!

I've been using compatible ink cartridges for a while now and have tried loads of companies, especially as the market has become saturated with them at the moment. I get mine from http://www.cobrainks.com. They haven't let me down yet!

There are other options though, you can buy yourself a CISS (continuous ink supply system) for your printer. These can work out a little expensive to start with, but you just top up the colour reservoirs on the side of your printer as and when you need to.
