I just bought a new comp from Dell. I already own a ATI x800 PCI-E video card, and i figured i could just stick it in this new comp. It turns out that there are no PCI-E slots. I thought AGP was pretty much unused and cant believe that dell would use AGP cards. So i go to Device manager and it says the video card is located in a PCI bus. i always thought PCI-E was most comonly used, since my old dell used PCI-E. Anyways, i really need to buy a new video card but dont no what to buy, only game i play is World of Warcraft, but this integrated one cant run it very well. I went to newegg and theres only 46 PCI cards, only a few of which are $100+. I want to by a pretty good card, at least $150+. Just need to know what i should be looking for and where to look. Thank you. ( yes i know this is prolly a retarted question, but im not a computer kinda guy )

I would suggest returning the dell....

But, if you can't do that, just go for a 7800GS or X850XT PE, the two best AGP cards out there.

The AGP card seen at Newegg favored here is seen at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102677
The ATI model run well on an older Socket A board can be seen at: http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=AA28030
An NVidia GeForce 6600 256mb card can be looked over at: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1240195&CatId=933
There are a number of half way decent cards out whether they use NVidia or ATI for drivers and softwares. With ATI however you would want to go above the 9600 chipset in the Radeon line due to the soon to be drop off of updates.
The 5.11 update for the Radeon line was the last with the control panel. Some prefer that over the Catalyst control center or basic drivers.

NO dells have AGP or PCI-E from what I've owned or looked at. Best PCI card your looking at is BFG FX 5500 which runs around 70 bucks new on Ebay or Newegg.
