Well i received a pc from a friend in the fall. Specs are in my sig. I started useing it as my primary pc and i noticed the the hard drive unusual louder then my old pc hard drive in my dell.Ive always seen on the forums that hard drives making noise is a sign that it my die in the near future. Well i though ill run the error checking option my my hard drive. Well when i tried starting it . i received an error.It says "The disk check could not be performed because the disk check utility needs exclusive access to some windows files on the disk. These files can be accessed only by restarting windows." Well i restarted and i tried again and no luck,same message. Im not sure what to think, you guys have any idea?
