Error: E:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function

When I tried burning some files onto a dvd, in the middle of the process,it went to a halt and got the error Error: E:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.

What could be possibly wrong? I did not reformat the lappy before the process.

Go into "My Computer" and right click on the cd drive and click on properties, click on the recording tab, then check to make sure that there is a check in the box that says "enable cd recording on this drive".

That's a good thing to do as well, but sometimes it's just a matter of the disc having a bad section on it, too... Has it done it on more than one disc?

If it's doing it on more than one disc, than it's probably the issue John mentioned...

disk drive is usually D:/

@ DETNSWDER - i noticed that it says E. I know that usually it's D. Do you know what could be wrong if this is the case?
