Error Message when downloading

I have Webshots on my computer (www.webshots.com). For those who are not familiar with it, it's a website that allows you to download its program, and then you can download various pictures from the site and use them for wallpaper and screen savers.

Normally, I click "download" and it automatically downloads and files the picture in the appropriate subject area in the webshots program.

Here is the problem:

I haven't been able to download any files, I keep getting an error message that one of my files is not found. Here is the error message:

The data file could not be processed because of this error:
C:\docume~1\dawnre~1.rei\locals~\tempor~1\content.ie5\09qrgxm\148426~1.wbz was not found

Am I missing an important file on my computer? The IE5 folder is a folder I never touch because I don't know what's in it, but it looks important.

Can anyone here help me?

You're not missing an important file. That folder is just used for temp files.

The link you posted has a ) in it but I managed to figure that out! The file looks like an image or part of one. I haven't used the Webshots program. Does the program have any means of clearing part-downloaded files, or some sort of reset? Browse the menus for downloading.

If the program holds pics until you move them somewhere else, move all you can somewhere on your pc (so they are not lost in what follows). Then go to IE Tools / Internet Options, Temporary Internet files, Delete Files, include offline content. That will delete temp files and may clear the offending pic/part-pic.

Ok I tried that. When I deleted all temp files, including offline content, I then went back to open the webshots program and the program automatically restored every picture, including the error because I still get an error message when I try to download.

I'm so frustrated I'm ready to scrap it and start over. I just have so many beautiful pics I hate to lose. I guess I can try to save them to my PC somewhere and hope that the problem doesn't get saved with it.

You should move your pics out of Webshots as I suggested if you value them. I would move them (or copies) somewhere else anyway to avoid flakiness of software and the Internet.

I assume you don't have premium version (you can email for help). For freeware version, go to Webshots Help, item 5. Download software again.
