Error Message

First off I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this question but I think it has to do with my operating system so I posted it here. I randomly started getting this error message. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if it was on occasion, but I get this about every minute and its become a pain to deal with. Anytime I copy, paste, clean the recycle bin or open winamp, when I do anything it shows up. Any idea on what I can do to fix this problem would be great.

You probably either have a bad extension or an infection. To check for bad extensions, use ShellExView to remove suspects.

how do I know what the suspects are? Any other ideas?

Windows Explorer ( explorer.exe ) Crashes in windows vista sometimes when you give it to many commands at once. I think you have windows XP so i think it may be a virus. Does your Taskbar disapear?

I appreciate all the replys but it still doesnt work. I think its a little more serious than i thought. Any other ideas.

Are you getting any Blue Screens?

no blue screens. it seems to be only when i copy/cut and paste things.
