Error when trying to access a site.

I get this error when trying to access a certain site: "The IP you are using is different from the one that initiated the session."

That error has manifest itself using two of three different routers. When using one particular router the error did not occur. I use Windows 10, Google Chrome, a HughesNet HT 1100 router.

Although it did not generate an error, another site I was accessing, would not work...the site locked up. Being a secure banking site, I suspect that the failure was due to the same problem.

What is causing that and how do I fix it?

Is this a satellite connection? It could be how it's proxied or the X-Forward-For is different. I can see how that will make banking a PITA.

Edit -- yep, satellite.

I'm not too sure how you can fix the issue other than using a VPN to keep a consistent IP. But I'm afraid if you do use a VPN, your connection speed my drop even further, not to mention add even more latency. If you want to try it, check out VPN.AC. Use the UDP protocol for speed.

That's really all I got. Other than contacting your ISP and see what they say. If you have another ISP option I would use that. If you live in the sticks, something like a mobile hotspot could be better. https://www.verizonwireless.com/internet-devices/ Providing of course you have a Verizon leased cell tower near by.

Looks like they all use a battery and are not pluged in. If you use one computer, a USB modem will work.

Being pretty much stuck with HughsNet satellite and their "support" amounts to be directed to an off-shore foreign national with an accent so thick that I cannot make sense of what he/she is saying (I have a significant hearing loss), asking HughsNet has not produced any positive result. Another computer website suggested I try a program called "TunnelBear" which hides the IP address when accessing a site...which I did and it worked. I can not access that secure site and do my searches without that problem shutting me out. However, even though hiding my IP address works, it is a workaround and does not address the problem directly. I would have preferred and was hoping for, a more elegant fix for the problem rather than a band-aid. Oh, well...
