They are software issues, so try reinstaling DiskKeeper Lite. And seeing as the errors referenced mmc.exe, which is microsoft management console, you may want to open a command prompt and type "sfc.exe /scannow" hit enter and have your WinXP CD at the ready. Let it complete

Ok thanks and I have one more question. Do you recomend I still use Diskeeper Lite or should I use another free defrag program. If you recomend I use another one please tell me which one.

DisKeeper is ok, although i personally have no problem using windows defrag. if i come across a better FREE alternative ill let you know

I would go with the full retail version if I was still using Diskeeper. When running 98SE that worked wonders on a 250gb drive still in use now for a backup to the XP host. It took an average of what most of the day to totally defrag with 98 at the time where Diskeeper 8.0 did it in under 90 minutes! For older versions of Windows that's a must. XP has cut that time dramatically with the improvement in system tools there.
