Errors when running different types of games

I don't get any error messages. Either it will just sit there, or it will restart my computer. Sometimes when the computer starts back up I'll get an option to report an error, and it'll say that something got 'caught' in the driver.

And I say it's a 'loop' because it plays a piece of a sound over and over, like that bit had been stuck. The screen stays still though.

any thoughts?
