Hello,
I've been using NOD32 for a while now and it has to be the smallest footprint I've seen in an AV program. However, I'm kind of skeptical on it's dependability. It never catches anything which is great as far as I'm concerned. Well, it does find suspicious programs stored on my storage drive even though they're not installed. (i.e. - Bear Share which I never use or endorse and I need to get rid of!!)

Anyone else have any dealings with this software? Thanks.

NOD32 FTW, i love it , unlike stupid norton which slowsdown ur computer, but iono>? have they gotten better ? but still NOD32 IS THE BEST!
 
Kaspersky and Avira are not even comparable to Nod32 or the new ESET Smart Security pack. Nod32 is truly the best antivirus now, after the ESET AV ( which is just a newer Nod32 version ).

I can tell you, there are no better antiviruses!

But the only problem with Nod32 is that sometimes, when you're at a 100% download, it will freeze and one of the .exe processes in your Task Manager will read that it's using 80-99% of your CPU.

Now when you mentioned that, it never happened to me. Probably due to the Nod32 file scanner, but I can guarantee you it's not happening to me. When Nod32 finds a virus, it just pops up and asks me to Terminate it while ESET immediately removes it to quarantine.

I never had a problem with Nod32, it's not a resource hog and it shouldn't freeze...
 
I liked NOD32 but i was getting some nasty infections from somewhere and a network attack on my pc which NOD32 wouldnt stop.

i recently upgraded to the ALOT better Kaspersky Internet security 2009 and its great!
 
Lol I feel so sad when someone said Kaspersky is better than Nod32...
Did you know that many viruses are made by a company called...Kaspersky?
