Ethernet Network PCI Adapter Card

Im no good when it comes to networking stuff,But would using a dedicated Ethernet Network PCI Adapter Card such as this-

be better than just using the standard on-board Ethernet port for my 20mb internet?

Or even better what about a Killer Nic K1 ?

Pretty much all NICs (that aren't ancient) are rated for at least 100mbps. Since you're still limited by your 20mbps internet connection, getting a higher rated NIC isn't going to do you any good.
