everything compatible?

Going with some oc capable memory there I see. But that will just about double the price on just 1gb of ram? while being a little faster. I would go with the MSI version of the video card change there however. The case is close in appearance to an Antec model seen just after ordering the AeroCool model seen at http://www.xoxide.com/aerocool-aeroengine-2-black.html I favor the Antec 900 over the ThermalTake.

Wow, a total overhaul? Back down to dual core eh? And the 8800GTX. What made you change?
If he's not playing at very high resolutions, I'd get the 8800GTS.
Personally, I'd go for 2GB but that's up to you guys.

I see you are still stuck on the Samsung dvd burner. ( it can't be! ! )(oh well... :( ) You shouldn't have too much of a problem putting the rest of it together in no time now.

i'm not sure whether the psu cables will reach all the way to the bottom of this tower :)

That could very well pose a problem with some makes and model supplies. You would have to look for a supply suitable for server cases. Those have the extra length for full towers as a rule due the amount of drives and height of many of that type of case. You really don't want to add a bunch of extension cords for power if avoidable. Many of the newer models so have some extra length mainly for gaming cases however. Those can be longer as well as slightly higher then the average desktop mid tower.

let's just hope i dont have to swap psu's because it isn't long enough or i could just place the hdds on the 5.25 bays :)

all items shipped: it shows the tower itself weighs 47lbs lol
rest of the items are 17 lbs total

grand total of 64 lbs lol

now i know why the other guys wife said its so damn heavy for a case :)

i was going to buy that aerocool instead but they dont sell it where i want to buy everything in one place because of shipping cost.

this costs me around 50 dollars for shipping whereas if i were to buy the same build from newegg it would cost me 225 dollars for shipping :)

Ouch! on the S&H alright! The one or more drives you install should be right at the midway just under the bottom 5 1/4" drive bay. Usually there's some slack left for extra drives added on the average mid tower so you may still see a good build without hassles there. Some mid tower atx cases see 3 1/2" drive bays go right to the bottom of the case. Take an old supply and measure the length on the drive rails to see if the standard 3ft. rails reach the bottom of a mid tower. That should be just a hair under the first pair of bays on a full tower.
