EVGA 650i Ultra, Memory Problems

So you only get problems when you try to have 2x1GB and 2x512MB in? Do you happen to know the STOP error code you get?

If your system runs fine with just the 512s and fine with just the 1GB sticks then it's also unlikely that the RAM is bad. Have you checked to make sure all the RAM slots are working?

Yea...only have problems with all four of them in...I don't know what error I got when I got the blue screen...i didn't take note of it. it read something like not being able to write to read only memory, I remember that much.

Actually, I haven't tried to use JUST the other two slots. I guess that will be my next step, i never thought of that.

Thanks for the reply!

try putting in the timings, frequency, and voltage manually. if that doesnt work, loosen up the timings a little bit

Let me know how it goes. :) If you get errors you likely have a bad slot, you'll have to talk to evga about getting that fixed.
