As the beast said, it does come with a fan that you can attach, and is highly recommended if you overclock.
 
The stock one is fine. And if you got a new one, you would need to find a way to cool the northbride and voltage regulators, since they're all connected via heat pipes.
 
or you could get a cheaper 975X board and then if you choose SLI you can get an asus flex SLI bridge and some hacked 975X SLI drivers... lol
it actually works.

ill probably end up using crossfire anyways, but its good that my options are open.
