eVGA 8800GT running slow

Hey guys,

I just bought a eVGA 8800GT and 2 gigs of RAM and my system is still running slow. Here are the specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ (2.00Ghz)
3GB DDR2 667Ghz RAM
eVGA 8800GT
ASUS M2N-MX motherboard.

I tryed ET:Quake Wars and I'm only getting 7 fps .

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

ur cpu could be throttleing?

I'm thinking a PSU problem. Seems like he just bought the stuff and maybe didn't upgrade his PSU.

check nVidia Control Pannel to see if it isn't forcing like, 4xaa and 16xaf. That could cause bad lag!
