eVGA GTX 260 for $175

isn't there a site somewhere around where you can find out if they are legit or not?(i mean not stealing your credit card and whatnot)

yes but a lot of reviews come from people that a ticked off and want revenge on the site so they can always be biased, ecost seems to have a no return policy even if they give you a picture of what u wanted lol

ahhh man, I was so close to pulling the trigger on this one.

Either they realized the price was wrong, or they're sold out like mep said.

hahahaha, probably priced as 9800 GTX

Man that's a great buy even if you don't need it. It could easily be turned around and sold for a profit on ebay or something. Can't believe I missed this one.

Can't believe I missed this one.

Don't sweat it. A month from now, $175 - $200 will probably be the going rate at newegg. All year, both nVidia and AMD have been dropping the prices on their new releases rather quickly. Competition FTW. ;)

Man, I was so ready to order that, even though I bought a 4870. And im very much a ATI guy. Thinking to go nVidea is like thinking to cheat on my girlfriend... haha.

Too bad its looking like a faulty deal though. Hope your price didnt get jacked up or anything.

That's false advertising on their part. I'd argue it.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I want to do yet. It is a dirty way of doing business and I think they should be held accountable. On the other hand, I'm hella lazy atm, so I feel like just taking my money and leave it at that.

Man, Have you sold this thing yet? I'm surprised UK'ers haven't pounced on it! I'm tempted!

Naw, it didn't work out. Everyone that bought the card received a refund. It was a mistake on their part, but I think they should still be held accountable. Meh...I dunno.
