Evga step up program

It has to be a new card, go on evga's website and it should tell you what cards they accept in the step-up program

alright, i have two choices then.

1.Keep my 320mb 8800 until the 9800 comes out, sell it then buy the new one.
2.Step up to the 640mb version in 3 months, then sell it still new for a greater amount, then buy it back again with same amount of money, then step up to the 9800 afterwards, then just keep the 9800.

I am pretty sure you can't do the step up twice and just add 3 months every time you step up. EVGA keeps track of all dates and what not. Not to mention that the step up program is like MSRP pricing and not actual pricing, so the step up will be more expensive then returning it and buying the next level up anyways.

The difference between the 640mb and 320mb version is null at this point. So if you're expecting significantly better gaming performance then you'll be disappointed. I suggest keeping this card till the 9800's or whatever come out.
