Evo4g Shift

Seeing as it came out two days ago, is anyone even remotely interested in it? Features as the slideout keyboard make me now interested in it, as i dont like the whole touchscreen keyboard thing. The drop and increase in thickness also got me wanting it...i dont like having something that i can barely hold...my lotus is pretty damn thin when open, its a tad frustrating.

I have the regular evo, typing on it right now. Its a great phone as I really dont like the slide out keyboard that comes with the new shift.

The battery life is somewhat better, but the trick is to go into running services and shut off what you don't need. i can now get my phone to last almost 24 hours.

thats still a tad short, but ill have to live with it to see what its like, ive heard they almost made it last a few days, at least a coworker said, hes probably exaggerating tho

i was at the sprint store yesterday and i was playing with the new Evo shift and i think its a pretty nice phone. i still love my evo way more.

i guess they both have their ups and down, the Evo has a bigger screen, the back camera is better, two flashes, thinner.

the shift is a tad thicker than the evo but it is extremely thing for a smart phone with a full keyboard, theres no front facing camera on the shift but i never use the one on my evo so i dont think its really matters. even though the shift has a 8mhz processor vs. the evo's 1ghz processor, the shift is rated to preform better than the evo.

i think either phone is really good, but i still prefer my regular evo

I have the Evo as well, and played around with the shift (I was thinking about selling my Evo to buy it) after about 10min with it, i came to the conclusion I don't like it as much. It took a day or to to get used to typing on a touch screen but other than that, i can type just as fast and as easily on the touch screen as I did the keyboard. All in all I feel the Evo is better. But its all personal preference.
