exclamation pci simple communications controller

Actually ive always seen this error. Everything works fine. Was using xp pro 32 with 4 gig ram. now using windows 7 pro 64 with same error. its a Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT with dual 24" Samsung Synmasters. When i check in device manager it says can't find driver. I downloaded the Latest driver from Nvidia but wondering is this error associated with the video card or a driver missing from the Intel motherboard.

Thought i better ask first before i start playing.

For the record. I did update the driver from Nvidia. Went to Intel and did an auto update and updated the board for sound only. that was the only update available. rebooted still works fine. Checked device manager and still says it can't find driver. Any ideas from here.

That is usually an onboard or dedicated modem. Not sure if vista and windows 7 have this little nifty feature but do this. Right click on the device and click on properties, click on the details tab and give me the 4 digit vendor and device ID numbers. In XP, it looks like this.

Resinstall motherboard chipset drivers.
