Expansion slot case fan

It seems a bit loud though. At max it's louder than my Silverstone that is 100.3 cfm. Though I don't know the specs on the cables unlimited one.

I just found this one. It's 42CFM and is less than 28dBA.

The dBa and the CFM ratings doesn't prove anything. Almost all of them are made up or exaggerated. The fan I linked you to is fairly quiet, I've used it before and my computer is near silent.

So what does prove something? You just randomly pic something? Ratings don't mean shit. Most the people who rate something are retards or haven't even bought the product, their friend or someone else they know has.

Maybe my 8800GTS is better than a 9800GX2 because specs are made up.

Think before you speak. >_>

Actual usage proves things. The dba to cfm ratings both fans are unrealistic, but I have the personal experience with the variable speed one and it can be potentially very quiet. More times than not manufacturers just slap on a number and don't even bother testing their products. It's just like how companies slap 20hz - 20khz to every single cheap headphone/speaker, even though it's complete BS

My 8800GTS 512 is running at 75C when I'm just on the internet and on msn. I'm sure max speed will be fine all the time. I really don't care. Sorry that I didn't point out earlier that speed isn't important to me.

Ohh, that makes sense now. Then yeah, you'll want to buy the highest RPM fan.
