Expansion?

That allows you to use a PCI card, but you wont find any PCI desktop cards that are good for gaming, with the exception of some of the X1K series.
 
Yeah I have to agree. It really is a long shot to get an upgraded GPU in a laptop. and PCI is pretty low end as it is.

And for that price why not just sell your laptop and get a new one with a dedicated GPU? Not only would you be limited to a very low end card as mentioned, but you'd also have to use an external monitor.

agreed those things are nearly a thousand dollars
