Hey, new to the forums...

Computer Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS M2N68-LA
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 9500
PSU: a 300w liteon
RAM: 6GB DDR2
Hardrive: 640GB
Graphics card: on board NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE
OS: Windows Vista 64bit
currently using a 22" LCD monitor.

Very soon I'll be upgrading
PSU to a: Rosewill RG530-2 530W
Graphics card to a: ASUS GeForce 9800 GTX+ EN9800GTX+ DK/HTDI/512MB
...I found this combo on newegg.com for around $220.

I just have a question I really have no reason for asking, just curious I guess.

How long do you think a system like this should/will hold up, after the upgrades?
I'll be using the computer mainly for gaming and home theatre purposes. The most demanding of the games this system will see for quite some time is probably WoW.

Let it be known I am not very computer savvy, so...

anywho, thanks for your time and all responses are appreciated.

no idea.. but my piece of crap computer has lasted 5 years running programs WAY out of its league.

not to mention running at nearly 80 degrees (Celsius) due to dust issues and shitty thermal paste.

The rig in my signature (mine) still holds up great on every game, granted it isn't running them at max anymore like it did 3 years ago when I built it. Just to give you an idea.
