Expert Help Needed - Again - Hard Disks

Hey ive just added a new pc case to my computer and all is fine except when i turn it on, it does the ram check and goes to boot up, it then doesnt boot at all and just freezes, even if i go to BOOT ORDER SETUP, i just get my 2 cd drives and my floppy drive listed, im sure my hard disk is plugged in properly, also if i try to enter the bios it just freezes..

Please help, i look forward to your reply..

First of all you might want to clear the CMOS/BIOS y either taking that little battery out or shorting the two pins that control it. If it still wont let you in to BIOS or boot then you may have a dead motherboard on you hands. Start by unpluggin everythign that isnt needed, that is any extra stixks of RAM, any CD/DVD drives and any 2nd hard drive if there is one. Strip it down to bare essentials and see if it boots, check to see if you have the MASTER set as MASTER if it is and vice versa for SLAVE.

I know you said it alredy but CHECK to see if the cable is in the right way on bothe the mobo and the HDD, obviously check power cables aswell.

Get back to us with the results from that lot.

ok thanks for the reply, still no joy - what the main problem is it gets to the part where it looks for pri master or whatever, then it doesnt find it and freezes there, if i press f4 to skip it it trys to find secondry master and cant find that either??

any more help please..
